What to Do If You Encounter a Potentially Sick or Injured Wild Animal
Generally, it’s best to leave wild animals undisturbed. However, if you suspect a wild animal is unwell or hurt, read further before reaching out to a wildlife rehabilitator. Avoid attempting to capture wild animals without consulting a wildlife expert first.
The only wildlife that we can consider accepting at the hospital are animals that are bleeding or very obviously injured (ex. broken leg, broken wing, unable to fly or walk).
