Meredith Lockwood, DVM

Dr. Meredith Lockwood received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1996 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2000, then completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. She enjoyed the California weather so much that she stayed there for another 10 years, practicing as an associate vet at a five-doctor clinic in Manhattan Beach. She moved to Gloucester in 2011 with her partner Kory, joining the SeaPort team that summer. She has always enjoyed surgery and has expertise in many soft tissue, dental, and orthopedic procedures. In 2020 she shifted to a mainly surgical schedule, freeing up time to dedicate to her second career in home renovation and real estate.

In her free time, she loves to relax with her dogs, cheer on her beloved Chicago sports teams, and fill her stomach at the wonderful restaurants around Cape Ann.
